Outside Broadcast Technical Specification

For OB units of their size, units 1 + 2 are a spacious and well designed OB facility which can operate either independently or in tandem.

Unit 1, an 8 camera production unit, incorporates all the familiar surroundings of a large scanner. The unit is of a high specification and technically powerful with a 32 x 32 SDI probel router. 24 x 24 telex communications, 20 channel Carlec Audio console and with up to 4 digital VTRs on board is suitable for most small to medium OB requirements.

Unit 2, a VTR-EVS-EDIT unit can be used in tandem with Unit 1 making a small and powerful 8-camera 6 VTR and up to 2 EVS facility. Unit 2 can also be deployed on its own as a 4 machine digital linear edit suite using a BVE2000 edit controller, DVS2000 vision mixer and Aston graphics.

Both units have been used for a number of projects which include Sport, Light Entertainment, Music Concerts, Press Launches, Children's Programmes, Film Premieres, DVD and Sell Through shoots.

Wherever space is an issue, especially in built-up areas, these units versatility and technical capabilities provide the ideal solution.
